Hi Early Birds...Here is my FREE DESIGN, THE CHALLENGE and my PRIZES FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE!

Oh; it is exciting!!! Tuesday is the 1st June here in Australia; and we will be starting our first month of projects for our Christmas Gifting. We have 35 bloggers participating to date so; by now you all should have your Gifting JOURNAL DONE with your giving LIST WRITTEN inside.

There has been some time given to considering what patterns you are going to use, so now on the last day of May, its time to sort out your pattern requirements (no spending hours stroking fabric or drooling over pretty things)....grab some stash items and set up your work area to START CRAFTING ON TUESDAY!!

JUNE - is our MINI CRAFTING MONTH

SO....I will be sending my 'Kris Kringle' Pattern (PDF Format) out to the participating bloggers by email over the next couple of days....

These are sweet little gifts; stitchery key ring holders.....

Coffee and Tea Mats and Page Markers for Books or Magazines.
I hope you enjoy making these mini gifts.

GIVEAWAY NEWS

I will be holding a DRAW FOR A GIVEAWAY AT THE END OF JUNE and all you have to do to be in it; is to make a minimum of three (3) Christmas Gifts during June. Finishing off UFO's that were meant to be gifts last year can also be included.

During the month put pics up on your blogs of the items you have made and email me on the 29th June to let me know how many items you finished for the month. The draw will be on the 30th June.

LUCKY DIP PRIZE

I will also surf your blogs on a secret day (I will give you a hint beforehand) during the month and....if you have a pic of your most recent Handmade Christmas Gift, on your blog on the day I am "surfing" you will go into the 'Lucky Dip Draw'. Lucky Dip Prizes will be little treasures in a pretty bag and you won't know what they are until you dip your hand in and pull "whatever" out!

NOW......THE CHALLENGE !!!!!!

There will also be an "I'M IMPRESSED" Giveaway for the Blogger who "knocks the socks" off me with their challenge project. If all of you knock the socks off me I will have a draw....but I will be looking for a standout project idea in the first instance.

Keeping in mind this is MINI GIFT MONTH........... my challenge is for you to work with a minimum amount of materials; so........you can make a gift with any one of the following sets for either sewing, papercrafts, or knitting/crochet;

2 FAT EIGHTHS OF FABRIC

1 PIECE OF SCRAPBOOKING PRINT PAPER AND 1 PIECE OF SCRAPBOOKING CARDBOARD

1 BALL OF YARN OF ANY QUANTITY

  • None of the patterns that I have shared with you are to be used for the challenge.....I want you to hunt down something that you think is just right for your chosen challenge.

Any type of embellishments are allowed...the more the merrier.....LETS PLAY !

Closing date for the challenge will be 25th June - email me when you have a pic of your challenge project on your blog.

HAVE FUN BIRDIES !!!!!!
