Hi There Blogging Friends! I just love poking around in second hand shops, op shops and commercial shops with vintage things for sale and; I must say that I was getting starved for anything remotely vintage for sale in the Outback, until I came across this delightful shop at Katherine in the N.T.
The shop is called "Off The Shelf Collectibles" and is smack bang in the main street, so is easy to find. I asked the owner could I take some pics of her fabulous stock and the fixtures that her man made for her. Just love them.....

And what about this iron collection and the great fixture they are sitting on as well......rustic charm at its best!
A darling vintage pram.....and in top condition too.

If there is china around; you will find me drooling over it. These English pieces are just timeless....never get tired of seeing them.

Then; there was this magnificent antique stove...still wishing I could have taken that one home with me...sigh!

Thanks for cheering the pictures - lots of lovely stuff :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week end.
Lovely finds Judith ... but my eyes shot straight to the little sewing machine behind the pram .... I don't think I could've resisted that ;o).
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Joy :o)
what fun Judith
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who has a green coloured stove and I'm sure it's the same as this! She has an electric also but as soon as the cold weather makes an appearance she has the chimney checked and cleaned and ensures she has ample supplies of firewood. She makes the best scones in the wood stove....mmmmmm. Love your juicer, I remember Mum having one of those and they are much better at juicing than a plastic one.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Robyn
I had my eye for a wee find for quite awhile and finally found it last week..yep you guessed it ..exactly the same item you purchased, lovely pics of the shop too..cheers Vickie
